USAPD’s armed guards are armed security officers who hold a license to carry a weapon in the State of Texas and have special training and experience in the proper use and handling of their weapon to prevent accidental discharge of the gun or other injuries. Our guards have an even temperament and have a good understanding of the conditions surrounding the property they are protecting. This is a “hands on service”.

An armed officer can handle more of a scope of situations from his training and can get involved immediately and be more reactive to most any situation posed at the detail they are assigned. Additionally, USAPD armed officers are trained in “less than lethal” types of weapons like Baton, PPCT and Tasers. All of our officers are licensed through the Texas Department of Public Safety as commissioned security officers.
