Providing Security Services to Dallas County Since 2019

USAPD, LLC is a Certified Woman Owned Business and Small Business Enterprise. We are certified by both the National Council and the Southwest Council

In 2019, we began working with Dallas County as a subcontract for Walden Security. We were given 20% of the contract covering a variety of government centers.

During that time, Dallas County representatives were watching us. They came to rely on our expertise and knowledge of the industry. We proved that we were reliable and efficient. We were able to quickly staff posts assigned to us with well trained and qualified officers. Walden was unable to provide the same level of service. By the end of Walden’s contract, we were handling 40% as a subcontractor.

2020 COVID

The COVID outbreak brought new challenges to security needs of Dallas County as COVID testing sites and later COVID inoculation sites needed to staffed in a short period of time. We were able to fill the additional 3000 hours of weekly posts and sustain those levels during the pandemic. Additionally, staffing was increased at our regular locations to assist in enforcing the masking rule and spacing rules.

Our officers endured hardships during Covid. Everyone was not happy with the new regulations. Our guards were frequently spit at, yelled at and were often sworn at. They continued to hold post with dignity and respect.

2020 Elections

In addition to COVID, 2020 was a highly contested and debated election year. USAPD was asked to perform guard services at voting sites.

In 2024 Constellis took over the contract and attempted handling the contract by themselves. By June 2024 they reached out to us to ask if we would partner with them to handle the security services needed. We took over 20% of the contract. By mid-July, USAPD was servicing 80% of the contract which included all additional election coverage to ensure peace and order at all voting facilities.
Constellis lost the contract by the end of 2024.

2025 USAPD BECOMES PRIME PROVIDER FOR DALLAS COUNTY

Since 2025 USAPD has been handling Dallas county without the need of sub-contractor. We have established a clear chain of command to serve the county. The account manager for Dallas County has over 25 years of security service. The account management services are offered to Dallas county at our own expense.
Additionally, we hired dedicated supervisors at our own expense to ensure that operations are running smoothly at all Dallas County locations.
County officials have access to our top management team 24 hours a day.

FIFA 2026

  • USAPD was able to fill all extra posts for FIFA coverage.
  • Many posts required 10 officers per shift.

What Dallas County Officials Are Saying About Us

Recognition from Dallas County Fire Marshal

Good morning, I would like to recognize 1st Watch for the outstanding work and initiative shown over the past several days at Garage D. In response to the recent calls for service, deputies and GLOAs took the initiative to conduct extra patrols and spent several hours at Garage D to maintain a visible presence and deter criminal activity. Even with the additional time spent at Garage D, regular patrol responsibilities were still completed. The extra patrols produced positive results. During these efforts, one felony arrest was made, two citations were issued, and drug paraphernalia was seized. In addition, there were no damaged gate arms throughout the weekend.  I would also like to recognize the overnight security officer from USA PD. I personally observed the security officer actively patrolling Garage D throughout the weekend. The  Security officer’s consistent presence and patrols supported the efforts of deputies and GLOAs and helped maintain a safe environment. Finally, I would like to recognize trainees Ortega, Resendez, and Longoria for the initiative shown throughout these patrols. Each trainee participated in self initiated activity, made contacts with vehicles and patrons, and stayed engaged throughout the operation. Taking a proactive approach instead of waiting for calls for service made a positive impact on the operation and reflects well on each trainee. The work and professionalism shown by Ortega, Resendez, and Longoria contributed to the success of these efforts.  Thank you to everyone involved for the hard work.
